The Iron Dragons

We had a great time Saturday at the DeSoto Fall Festival in Walther Park on a beautiful day. There was a nice turnout with lots of vendors, kids activities and a classic car show. That evening, the first ever Get Healthy DeSoto Talent Show was a blast. Wish I had a printed program to tell you the names of all the talented performers. There was a stream of great singers and musicians. We especially got a kick out of the new rock band, Iron Dragon. They are 3rd to 5th graders with instruments nearly as big as they are. They rocked out the tune, “We’re not gonna take it” in the style of the band Twisted Sister. I had a smile on my face all the way home. Hope this event becomes an annual thing.
